This is about a friend of Fred's. He told Glen and Kirk this tale while on the way to a gig in Duluth, Glen and Kirk laughed their asses off. Glen then changed the name from Gary to Jerry, to protect the innocent.

Jerry was a growing up without too much effort
one day he took a short cut, while walking home from school,
came upon a tractor with a quarter tank of fuel
just a strong young man and a broken down machine
but Jerry had the weakness for the smell of gasoline
